John has built a career over several decades across the Agribusiness and Food & Beverage sectors with a keen eye for innovation and the implementation of recent technologies to achieve improved productivity. Prior to now being based in New Zealand and working on global engagements, John was based in the Middle East working with Almarai, KSA Ministry of Environment Water and Agriculture (“MEWA”), KAUST University, in addition to the Prime Minister’s Office in Dubai on a range of Food Security related projects. Food Waste and the upcycling of organic materials has been a critical part of these strategies which has resulted in leading multiple organic waste mapping studies and the application of upcycling technology to provide commercial solutions to benefit the environment and open new commercial opportunities.
